No mention of Tony Torcato or even Mike Griffin both of Woodland, both high draft picks, both made
Major League rosters however didn't spend a lot of time in the bigs ... Bobby Ehrke ...

Pedroia is from Woodland, not Sacramento - so he shouldnt count. Barry Worthington Carmichael CA
(Editor's Note: Our geographic boiundaries go north to Yuba City, east
to Grass Valley, west to Winters and South to the Sac-Joaquin County line. Pretty much the same
area as Sac Bee sports. My oversight for not making this clear in the previous
page.).
Steve Sax had a better career than posted on this site. Check out how many games played, runs
scored, stolen bases and hits. Greg Vaughn would be #1 if he had a better career Avg. Thank you Ken
Clawson (Editor's Note: Sax's stats--including those cited above--are found
on the preceding page, along with those of the other qualifying players.)
Thanks for giving the chance to say my choices--Anthony Costanzo Citrus Heights
Top 3 is too short. 5 would be a better number--Bill Enos Sacramento
